  3. I agree with Melissa and Chris, simple is the way to go when it comes to wikis. Perhaps this can aid you in creating one http://www.wikipatterns.com/display/wikipatterns/Wikipatterns/?s_kwcid=wikipatawsearch&gclid=CJPc-PDQh5kCFQrFGgodMiWplw

  4. Maybe an Introduction to the Project on the Front Page and new pages for each topic on the side bar.

    ArtEdPedia!
    is a good example.

  5. This is probably going to be kind of vague, but I have a point here. What I have seen of tagging sites, museum and otherwise, have been mainly function over form. There are good reasons for this of course. Since our focus is getting kids to use these sites though I think we need to consider sites that are popular with kids (facebook, myspace, whatever). What can be done to the design of the site to prevent kids from rolling their eyes at it? I could help generate graphics for it if Philip needs any help.

  6. I think simple would be best, but with a more eye pleasing font and color scheme then wikipedia has.
I personally think the ArtEdPedia site looks a little messy and disorganized.

  7. I like the idea of simple. I think that we are all used to using Wikipedia, a design that is familiar to us and the public may help. I think that most Wiki designs are the same, except for the "skin" or how the Wiki looks. I found this link to some Wiki design tips while searching google. Good Luck.

  8. Well, I'm going to poke up my hand and say... not too simple and classic. I mean, please, feel free to show off a bit.

I'm pretty tired of your basic user-friendly template-y things I'm stuck with because it's all I know how to work with. And your header is amazing.

I say, do whatever you want.
